The NBA All-Star Game, basketball’s annual midseason talent showcase, is on the horizon.
The 2019 festivities will take place in Charlotte, N.C., and feature a weekend filled with events capped by the All-Star Game.
A new format was put into place in 2018 in which the All-Stars are selected by two captains. LeBron James’ team took down Stephen Curry’s group, 148-145, last year. Prior to the format change, the Western Conference had won seven of the previous nine contests.

The NBA All-Star Game will be on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019. Several events, such as the Slam Dunk Contest and 3-point Contest, will take place in the two days leading up to the game.

Tipoff for the All-Star Game is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.
TV channel, live stream for 2019 NBA All-Star Game
The All-Star Game will be broadcast nationally on TNT. Marv Albert, Chris Webber and Reggie Miller will handle the announcing duties for the fifth consecutive year. It can also be streamed using fuboTV (7-day free trial).
2019 NBA All-Star Game rosters
Each team will each have 13 players. Team captains LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo can draft their rosters regardless of conference affiliation.
James took Kevin Durant with the first overall pick while Antetokounmpo took Steph Curry with his first pick.
